Step #1 Sign Up
The sign up process is quick and all your personal information is kept confidential from everyone except instructors of classes you join.
Step #2 Join a Class
Once you've signed up, you can join your instructor's class so you can start taking exams. Enter your instructor's email address, and we'll give you a list of all the classes they've created. Just click "join class" and you're in.
If you'd like, you can also take the National Biblical Greek Exam on your own, instead of joining a class. You will still be elgibile for prizes, as long as you take the exam with a proctor (keep reading for more info on proctors).
Step #3 Take the Exam
Any exams your instructor has assigned will show up on your account homepage, so all you have to do is click "Take Exam" under any exam listed. The pre-exam page will load, and if you'd like, you can take the exam with a proctor (a proctor can be anyone who has an account with us). Your instructor may require proctors for some exams, and for the National Biblical Greek Exam, proctors are necessary to be eligible for prizes. If you're taking the National Biblical Greek Exam, you'll also have to purchase a pass to take the exam. If your instructor is having you purchase your own access to the exam, you'll be charged $10 to take the exam once, or $20 for an unlimited pass for the year.
Step #4 Exam Review
Immediately after the exam, you'll see your score and all the answers to the questions you missed. If you think a question was unfair or confusing, you can let us know by challenging the question.

Step #1 Sign Up
The sign up process is quick and all of your personal information is kept confidential. Make sure to select "Instructor" for your account type to get access to instructor account features. If you miss this when you sign up, though, you can always edit your account type by clicking on the "Account Info" tab.
Step #2 Create a Class
The first thing an instructor should do after registering is to create a class. You'll have to tell us when you want the class to become available for students to join (start date) and when you'll want the class to expire (end date). We also ask that you give us some information about the level of your class for comparing your students' performance on the National Biblical Greek Exam with their peers around the nation, so make sure this information is accurate. Any information you enter for your classes can be changed later, and you can create as many classes as you'd like.
Step #3 Assign an Exam
After creating a class, you'll need to assign an exam. Choose an exam to assign, set a due date, select how many retakes you'd like to allow, and choose whether to require your students to use a proctor. A proctor can be anyone who has an account with us; they simple enter their login information before another student takes an exam and stays in the same room until the exam is over to keep the examinee accountable. By default, you can assign the National Biblical Greek Exam to your students, but if you'd like to assign a custom exam, you'll have to create some questions and build a custom exam (look under "Custom Exams" in your account navigation bar).
Step #4 Have Your Students Take the Exams
After setting up a class and creating as assignment, have your students join your class. They'll just need your email address to see all your available classes (classes that have reached their start date, but haven't expired yet). Once students have joined your class, they'll see all the exams you've assigned from their account homepage.
Taking custom exams is entirely free for students, but the National Biblical Greek Exam is not. Students are charged $10 to take the exam once, or $20 for an unlimited pass for the year. You can simply require the exam in their syllabus just as you assign required textbooks and have students handle the cost on their own. If you'd prefer to pay for your students as a group, you can contact us to arrange payment. Some schools do this and then charge a course fee to get reimbursed. In order to relieve the school from this "middle man" position, we recommend that instructors simply require the exam as part of the course and let the students take care of the service fee.
Step #5 Review Your Students' Performance
After your students have taken the exams you've assigned, you can view their performance in the Exam Results tab. At the Exam Results page, you'll see a list of exams you've assigned for each of your classes. Under each exam you'll see every time you've assigned that exam. Click 'view results' to see your class' performance on that assignment.
